SECOND WORLD APOSTOLIC CONGRESS ON MERCY
PARTICIPANT REGULATIONS

 
 
I. ORGANISER AND PLACE
 
The Second World Apostolic Congress on Mercy is organised by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Krakow, acting through the Organisational Committee.
The Congress will be held at the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy (Sanktuarium Bożego Miłosierdzia) in Krakow-Łagiewniki, Poland, located at the address: ul. Siostry Faustyny in Poland.
 
II. PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION
  • Registration of participants to the Second World Apostolic Congress on Mercy can be made through the Secretarial Office of the Congress electronically only, from the Congress website: www.wacom2011.pl
  • Registration via fax, mail or in any other way will not be accepted.
  • In order to complete your participant registration, you must fill in a proper form which can be found in the “Registration” section.
  • Each participant is obliged to pay a registration fee of 100 EUR. This amount includes: board, i.e. two meals a day, transportation in Krakow and to Wadowice and KL Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, congress materials, promotional gadgets. Accredited journalists will be able to use the press sector and the pressroom.
  • Members of WACOM delegation and organised groups do not register on their own but through their leader. Individuals register on their own. The secretarial office of the Congress reserves a right to combine the registered individuals into language groups or groups of participants from the same region, country or continent.
III. ACCOMMODATION REGISTRATION
  • Packages of stays offered by travel agencies cooperating with the secretarial office are presented at www.wacom2011.pl.
  • Booking, fees and cooperation with the selected travel agency are the direct responsibility of participants.
IV. FEE REGULATIONS

  • The registration fee amounts to 100 EUR. It should be paid by bank transfer within 7 days from the registration date but not later than by 10th September 2011 (the date of crediting to the Organiser’s account shall be decisive). All costs of bank fees and administration fees shall be covered by the payer.
  • Individuals coming from developing countries or being in a difficult material situation can be exempted from the registration fee or can apply for its reduction to the Organisational Committee.
  • The registration fee is non-refundable.
  • Apart from the registration fee, one can also make a donation to the Solidarity Fund which offers aid in covering participation costs to individuals who are unable to pay the registration fee or the organisational costs of the Congress.
V. PERSONAL DATA
 
The Organiser has a right to process personal data within the meaning of the act dated 29th August 1997 on personal data protection (Dz. U. of 2002 No. 101, item 926 as further amended) and the Organiser’s rights and obligations in this respect shall be governed by this act, subject to the modifications contained in the act dated 18th July 2002 on electronic services (Dz. U. of 2002 no. 144 item 1204). The Participant is authorised to access their personal data and correct it. They also have a right to demand to cease data processing and object to the processing of data resulting from art. 32 section 1 items 7 and 8 of the act on personal data protection, subject to the absolute rights of the Organiser resulting from the act referred to above.
The Organiser shall collect Participants’ personal data resulting from the registration process and reserves a right to use it in future by sending information or offers by e-mail, telephone or traditional mail.
 
VIII. FINAL
  • The Organiser will be responsible for the final interpretation of these Regulations.
  • The Organiser reserves a right to change and modify these Regulations in future.
  • The laws of Poland and the European Union shall be applicable to these Regulations.
